Hi all,
Thanks for dropping in to my little corner of cyberspace (no pun intended).
I`m Tom and living in the beautifully light polluted city of Gdansk, Poland.
Most of my observing is done from my balcony which poses its own unique challenges. (Restricted in both azimuth due to the floor above and orientation). I spent most of the time looking at our Solar system. Because of the light pollution a lot of deep space stuff is very faint or near invisible.
This blog came into existence to record my observations, share my pictures, talk to myself pondering how to do something, to reach out to all of you for the answer or to review a new purchase! So feel free to leave comments under any post. A lot of things might seem obvious to a lot of people reading this.
I am just a beginner in the world of astronomy. Many things I do might seem silly or the long way to get somewhere.
My observing gear:
- Meade NG-125 (127/1900) on the standard AZ StarNavigator mount
- Set Plossls (26 and 9,7mm)
- Various Chinese Plossls (SVBONY)
- SkyFi wifi adapter
- My wife’s Canon700D (Thanks! 🙂 )
- SVBONY SV305 that I haven’t figured out yet!!!

I am planning to do some more detailed reviews of some of the items in future posts.
Feel free to drop me a line at [email protected]
